The Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence has convened a simulation collaborative for individuals using simulation to educate and enhance the education of nurses and nursing students working in education and service settings.
Mission of the Simulation Collaborative
To bring those working in simulation together to share resources, enhance the quality and amount of simulation in healthcare throughout Colorado.
Goals of the Simulation Collaborative
- Increase the use of simulation in academic and clinical settings.
- Improve the quality of simulation used in academic and clinical settings.
- Increase the number of CHSE Certified instructors in Colorado
- Provide a platform for sharing of resources and communication and support
The Simulation Collaborative meets monthly via zoom technology or in person at the Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence, all individuals working in simulation in either academia or service are welcome to attend the meetings.
