This highly experiential student leadership development intensive is intended to give an overview of team leadership skills to provide a foundation for students to lead future Interprofessional Collaborative Practice (IPCP) teams. This course is divided into three separate half-day sessions (on Saturday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM) to be held throughout the fall academic semester. Students must attend all three sessions. Expert faculty will teach participants skills they need to be an effective leader of an interprofessional team, including:
- Getting to know yourself as an IPCP leader.
- Develop effective interprofessional relationships to enhance team success.
- IPCP Teams impact toward the quality of care for vulnerable populations.
- Leading teams effectively.
This seminar is open to all DO/MD/PA/APRN students pursuing their professional degrees. It will be held over three Saturdays. The 2017 dates include: September 30, October 14, and November 11. The cost of the program (except for food) is covered by a grant from the HRSA Primary Care Training and Enhancement program.

Cancellation Policy: If a participant cancels 30 or more days prior, they will receive a 95% refund, less a 5% administration fee. If they cancel 15-29 days prior, they will receive a 90% refund, less a 10% administration fee. If a participant cancels 14 days or less prior, all fees are completely non-refundable.
