This highly experiential student leadership development intensive is intended to give an overview of team leadership skills to provide a foundation for students to lead future Interprofessional Collaborative Practice (IPCP) teams. This four day course is divided into four separate one-day sessions to be held throughout the academic year. Students must attend all four sessions. Expert faculty will teach participants skills they need to be an effective leader of an interprofessional team, including:
- Getting to know yourself as an IPCP leader.
- Develop effective interprofessional relationships to enhance team success.
- IPCP Teams impact toward the quality of care for vulnerable populations.
- Leading teams effectively.
This seminar is open to all DO/MD/PA/APRN students pursuing their professional degrees. It will be held over four Saturdays. The dates include: October 1, 2016; January 7, 2017; February 25, 2017 and April 29, 2017. The cost of the program (except for food) is covered by a grant from the HRSA Primary Care Training and Enhancement program. Course registration links are below.

Cancellation Policy: If a participant cancels 30 or more days prior, they will receive a 95% refund, less a 5% administration fee. If they cancel 15-29 days prior, they will receive a 90% refund, less a 10% administration fee. If a participant cancels 14 days or less prior, all fees are completely non-refundable.
