The Clinical Placement Technology Platform should enhance the process for both the schools requesting placements and the agencies responding to the requests. I anticipate this format will enable the schools and agencies to maximize the use of clinical placements available and expedite the process.

Partners
The Partnership for the Colorado Clinical Placement Project continues to grow and expand.
As new partners are welcomed and added to the system, opportunities to further streamline
the work of student placements continues.

The system now includes Clinical Partners across the state in a variety of healthcare settings. Any clinical agency where student nurses can be provided an opportunity to learn and provide care can be added. The types of settings in the system include: Acute Care – Critical Access Facilities – Public Health – Ambulatory Care and Clinics – Long-term Care – Hospice - Long-term Acute Care Hospitals – Wellness Centers – Simulation Centers – Leadership and Workforce Centers |
Academic settings from across Colorado that prepare nurses to join the workforce can be included. All the approved Schools of Nursing across the state that educate CNA’s, LPN’s, ADN-RN’s, and BSN-RN Students are included. Additional settings include the Colorado AHEC’s that provide LPN and RN Refresher Programs as well as the University’s that provide graduate and post-graduate nursing programs. |
