Basic Eligibility for Payment
Visit CMS’ NursesforNursingHomes.cms.gov website for more details.
- Have eligible student loan debt; or for those without student loan debt, have graduated within the past 2 years to qualify for a stipend.
- Obtain employment as an RN or LPN/LVN at a qualifying nursing home.
- Willing to work an average of 30+ hours/week.
- Not worked in a nursing home prior to applying.
- Agree to a 3-year commitment.

Eligible Nurses can be paid up to $40,000 in loan repayment and up to $10,000 living stipend.
